The ODI is a powerful software package for the evaluation of combined GC-O data. In addition to visual evaluation, it also offers additional evaluation options based on the commonly used evaluation algorithms. A diverse range of filtering options reduce the quantity of data to be evaluated. One software package is therefore all that you need to meet your data evaluation needs.

Functional principle of ODI

Data recorded using the ODP Recorder and a commonly used GC/MS system are imported into the ODI. The ODI displays the chromatogram, the olfactogram and the sensory impressions of a sample as an overlay. The data have now been visually prepared and can be evaluated. GC/MS data are identified by means of stored MS libraries. The purification of the assigned mass spectra is performed by means of deconvolution algorithms. Additional evaluations, such as calculating the AEDA to determine aroma dilution factors from multiple GC runs can also be performed.

Benefits

All GC-O data of a sample can be clearly presented and evaluated using a single software package. For evaluation, the ODI makes use of commonly used MS library formats and deconvolution algorithms. Using the optional NIST database, you can maximize the number of spectra that are identified.
